Wrap Your Arms Around Me is a collaboraion of two prominent galleries: Gallery Diet- a leading Miami-based contemporary art gallery directed by Nina Johnson, and the New York kinder MODERN directed by Laura Appleton, which specializes in the history of contemporary design for children. Shani Hay was invited to participate in the exhibition presenting her life size crocodile. Stitched in an elaborate quilt pattern, the white pleather crocodile takes the craft of making stuffed dolls and stuffed animals to exceptional heights.
