The David citadel hotel - kids club A new kids club inspired by the Jerusalem theme

Due to the success of the original 100sqm David Citadel Hotel Kids Club, designed by our studio in 2011, the hotel recommissioned us to devote a whole new floor to their younger guests.
The now 350sqm play center pays homage to Jerusalem and the unique architecture of the hotel. As part of the design brief, we were asked to create one harmonious environment that allows families with children of varied ages (2-18) and interests, to engage and release energy in a unified space with the same visual language. Our aim was to organically combine Modernist design with traditional motifs of the Old City while still providing a look of fun and adventure for any child entering the space.
